Manufactured
in the UK with over 30 years’ experience in heat pump manufacture, the
Calorex range is renowned as being at the upper end of the heat pump
market. The Calorex Pro-Pac swimming heat pumps are designed
specifically for heating domestic swimming pools, available in two
configurations the standard seasonal models will heat with outside air
temperatures of between 10*c – 40*c and the Pro-Pac “Y” models
will heat all year round to an outside air temperature of -15*c. All
models come with quality components such as a titanium heat exchanger
specifically designed for swimming pool applications, all models in the
Calorex range come with a 3 year warranty. Whatever the heating source for your swimming pool in this case a heat pump, working out how much input heat you need to maintain a set temperature depends on many variables (the heat losses of the pool), we have prepared the following guide below to give you a estimated value of the heat pump size required to maintain a set temperature of between 27*c and 29*c (80-84F). Fitting the optimum size heat pump will actually save you money as heating up times are quicker and heat pump duty on cycles are reduced.
